About...

Every guitar is handmade start to finish. All wood is selected for tonal response and appearance. Hardware is the highest quality attainable. Design is based on a straightforward 'form follows function' philosophy...therefore, embellishments and/or ornamentation are minimal...functionality, tone, and playability are the primary goals.

Stronger and lighter. Reliable, consistent, and functional. Better tone, sustain, and playability.

The below core design elements are used in all guitars...

* Multi-laminate construction + neck-through-body design = strong, dimensionally stable neck with minimal heel, no neck/body joint, and better sustain and resonance than glued or bolt-on necks.

* Flat/Non-Radiused Fretboard. Superior for low action, speed, tapping, hammering, extreme bends, and overall playing feel.

* Ebony Fretboards: Smoother, and stronger than rosewood, with better percussive characteristics for tapping, and hammering.

* Truss rod placement: access/adjustment is via the neck pickup, no wood is routed out of the headstock. This retains more strength in a traditionally weak area, while placing the nut in full contact with solid wood across all strings (no space under the nut where the truss channel usually is) = better coupling/sustain.

* No-angle headstock: the headstock is not angled, nor does it step down at the nut. The headstock is essentially an uninteruppted extension of the neck. Again, retaining strength in a typically weak area.

* Straight-Pull Strings = better tuning stability and consistency.

* 45mm Nut: A wider nut opens up the strings a bit and maintains a more dimensionally consistent feel up and down the fretboard = cleaner, better playing.

* Oil & wax finish on the neck gives a smooth playing feel that does not get a tacky feel after extended playing, like paint or lacquer. Body and headstock are finished with a thin, hard covering that is durable and protective without dulling resonance or sustain.

* Controls: Cavity is thoroughly shielded to keep emi/hum to a minimum. Electronics- Switchcraft toggles, CTS pots, Sprague "Orange Drops".
